Lamp Project

This was a project from my first year at university. The brief was confusing; we worked in groups, then split into subgroups. For the first week, each subgroup researched one of 3 topics: lighting in the workplace, lighting at home, lighting for a specialised craft. For the first week, my subgroup did research on workplace lighting, specifically lamps. Then the second week, each subgroup swapped their research with another group to make designs and models for. In the 2nd week, my group conducted research on home lighting for students specifically. Then the 3rd and final week, each group swapped models and research again to make a final model. For the final week, my group got lighting for a specialised craft, which, from the research and models it focused on jewellery design. This project taught me about modelmaking and teamwork.
