Bike Project
(2023)
This was a project from my first year at university. The brief was confusing; we worked in groups, then split into subgroups. For the first week, each subgroup researched one of 3 topics: cycling safety, cycling security, and cycling conditions. For the first week, my subgroup did research on cycling conditions, and my part was to look at weather conditions. Then the second week, each subgroup swapped their research with another group to make designs and models. The 2nd week, my group got the research for cycling security, the research focused on bike theft and bike storage. Then the 3rd and final week, each group swapped models and research again to make a final model. For the final week, my group focused on cycling safety, which, from the research and models they focused on, visibility, more specifically, indicators for bikes. This project taught me about modelmaking and teamwork.
